What is the “Wellness Check-Up”?
The “Wellness Check-Up” is a routine examination of your pet by a licensed Veterinarian to ensure your pet is healthy. You must take you new pet to the vet withinThree (3) days of date of delivery as a condition to the warranty.

I have a claim. How do I submit it for Reimbursement?
  1. Mail a copy of the “Animal Limited Warranty” completed and signed; AND
  2. The initial “Wellness Check-Up” examination results along with a detailed diagnosis of       illness and itemized statement of treatments and costs within sixty (60) days of each       veterinarian treatment or service to: PAWS P.O. Box 480 Denver, CO 80201 Or FAX       (303) 781-5245

Do I have to pay for the “Wellness Check-Up”?
Yes. The initial exam is paid by you, however treatment or services for any illnesses covered under the terms and conditions of the warranty will be reimbursed should a claim arise.

Is this Pet Insurance?
No. This is not Pet Insurance. This is a Limited Animal Warranty Program and only covers illnesses attributed to the Breeder, Congenital or Hereditary. If you would like routine and other treatments and services not covered by this warranty service, you should consult your Vet or Breeder about Pet Insurance.

What are Routine Procedures?
Routine procedures are treatment and services by the Veterinarian which are routine in the care and healthy maintenance of the animal. This includes recommended vaccinations such as Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, etc…

My Pet has Giardia, Coccidia, Kennel Cough, Upper Respiratory Cold or Pneumonia does my warranty cover this?
Yes. In most circumstances these illnesses surface within 14 days of taking the pet home. Your warranty covers this so long as it is diagnosed within the incubation period. These illnesses surface during the first 14 days.

Does my warranty cover any Dental, Cancer, Vitamins, Grooming, Cosmetic Surgery, Accidents or Trauma?
No. This warranty only covers illnesses diagnosed as contagious or infectious, or congenital or hereditary. Any recommendations by your vet for shampoos, vitamins, or specialty snacks and foods are optional.
